Overview
Lead the design and evolution of the system that turns real-world data into decisions. This includes modeling approaches, system architecture, and how data flows from ingestion to prediction to decision.
You'll work directly with the founders on defining core technical direction and building systems that operate reliably in real-world conditions.
What you'll do
- Define and evolve modeling approaches across spatial, temporal, operational, and environmental data
- Design system architecture across data, models, and decision layers
- Drive standards for correctness, evaluation, and reliability
- Work hands-on on critical parts of the system where needed
- Help shape technical direction and hiring
What we're looking for
- Strong background in applied AI / ML systems
- Experience building systems that operate beyond controlled environments
- Ability to think across modeling, data, and system design
- Comfortable owning ambiguous, high-impact problems
- Preference for candidates who have built original systems, not just integrated existing ones
